Privacy Policy

Yearn is a product-discovery app operated by Applikeable, based in Denmark. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. We aim to collect as little as possible.

1. What we collect
- Waitlist email — if you sign up on this website, we store the email address you provide so we can send you a launch-day invite.
- App usage signals — inside the app, we record anonymous interactions (items shown, swipes, time spent, saves, and taps through to retailers) to personalize your feed. These are tied to an anonymous account identifier, not to your name.
- Wishlist — items you save are stored so they're there when you return.
- Technical data — standard request information (such as device type and approximate region) needed to operate and secure the service.
We do not ask for your real name, and we do not handle your payment details — purchases happen on the retailer's own site.
2. How we use it
- To personalize and improve your product feed.
- To operate, secure, and debug the service.
- To contact you about the launch, if you joined the waitlist.
Our legal bases under the GDPR are your consent (waitlist email) and our legitimate interest in running and improving the app.
3. Affiliate links
Yearn links you out to third-party retailers. Some of these links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. We don't sell products ourselves, and the retailer's own terms and privacy policy apply once you leave Yearn.
4. Sharing & processors
We don't sell your personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run Yearn (for example, hosting and database infrastructure), who process data only on our instructions. We share data with retailers only in the form of standard, anonymous referral tracking when you choose to tap through to them.
5. Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete your waitlist email or your app data at any time.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email hello@applikeable.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
7. Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change, and revise the date at the top.
