Your privacy,
in plain sight.

Yearn is a product-discovery app operated by Applikeable. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

The short version

We use the choices you make in Yearn to personalize your feed. We do not sell your personal data, we do not process payments, and purchases happen with the retailer.

1. Who we are

Yearn is operated by Applikeable, based in Denmark. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@applikeable.com.

2. What we collect

We aim to collect only what helps Yearn work and improve your discovery experience.

  • App interactions. Items shown, gallery swipes, time spent, saves, dismissals, and retailer taps. These signals help tune the feed.
  • Preferences and wishlist. The interests, shopping audiences, product types, and display currency you choose, plus the products you save, so they remain available when you return.
  • An account identifier. Yearn can create an anonymous account identifier to associate your feed and wishlist with your device. If you choose to sign in, this may be linked to your account.
  • Technical information. Standard operational information such as device and request data needed to run, secure, and diagnose the service.
  • Website waitlist. If you choose to join, we collect your email address, any optional shopping interests you select, the page you joined from, referral host, and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign. We also record when and under which wording you gave consent.
  • Messages you send us. If you email Applikeable, we receive the information in that message so we can reply.

Joining the website waitlist is optional. The waitlist does not collect your app wishlist, product-view history, or Yearn account identifier.

3. How we use information

  • To personalize the products shown in Yearn.
  • To preserve your wishlist and preferences.
  • To operate, secure, understand, and improve the app.
  • With your consent, to tell you when Yearn is available and send occasional launch updates relevant to the interests you selected.
  • To respond when you contact us.

Yearn may infer shopping preferences from interactions such as saves, dismissals, and retailer taps. These are predictions about products you may want to browse, not statements about your gender identity. You can override them in Shopping preferences.

Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent where requested, performance of the service you ask us to provide, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving Yearn.

4. Retailers and affiliate links

Yearn helps you discover products and may link you to third-party retailers. Some links may be affiliate links, which means Applikeable may earn a commission if you make a purchase—at no extra cost to you.

We do not sell the products, handle checkout, or receive your payment details. Once you tap through, the retailer’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

5. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We use a limited number of providers to host and operate Yearn. They process data only as needed to provide those services. The website and waitlist endpoint are hosted by Vercel, and consented waitlist records are stored in Supabase. When you choose to visit a retailer, standard referral information may be used to attribute the visit or any affiliate commission.

If you choose a display currency, the app requests public reference exchange rates from Frankfurter. Your Yearn account, wishlist, and product details are not included in that request; the provider may receive standard network information such as your IP address.

6. Retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to operate your preferences and wishlist, respond to messages, and meet legal obligations.

We keep a waitlist record until you withdraw consent or the launch communication period ends. Unless we need to retain a minimal suppression record to respect an unsubscribe request, remaining waitlist records will be deleted no later than 12 months after Yearn’s public launch.

If you use Sign in with Apple, we retain the provider token needed to revoke that authorization when you delete your account. It is stored server-side and is not available to other Yearn users.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive your personal data, object to or limit certain processing, and withdraw consent. You can withdraw waitlist consent at any time by emailing hello@applikeable.com; future launch messages will also include an unsubscribe option. If you are in the EEA, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority, including the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Signed-in users can permanently delete their Yearn account and associated wishlist, preferences, and activity history from Profile → Account → Delete account. You can also contact us for help with a privacy request.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Yearn evolves. If we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
